The lane, divided by physical barriers, was built in the middle of the National VI road, Madrid- La Coruna, (40 km in the metropolitan area of Madrid). The project included: platform enlargement, reversible road in the centre for buses and HOVs, informative electronic panels, elimination of direct access, and noise barriers and vegetation along street sides.
